113th Philippine Independence Day
One hundred thirteen years of being free! Such a long time since the first; yet, here we are: Still alive and kickin’.One hundred twelve anniversaries had already been observed. Each one was made as memorable as its last. And in the years that have since passed, many glorious moments have occurred, along with those that made us frown and feel ashamed.
Yup, with every glory and honor received, there will always be stains to deter us. I don’t know why it always happens. No sooner than after bestowing a prestigious international award on a fellow kababayan, that horrifying news items involving massacres and political scandals pop up.
But even so, we always think and move forward. Sure, there are some people who slowly lose their trust, but overall, we don’t give up.
Independence Day. Philippine Independence Day. The most memorable one for me was the Centennial Independence Day Celebration. It was so full of streamers, Philippine flags, confetti, music, events, parades, the works! I was a kid and I didn’t really gave a hoot about the celebration back then; but I still indulged in it. After that, I just saw Independence Day as another traditional Philippine anniversary.
Now, I want to feel like I can be proud of this country and show it off to the whole world, even just on its anniversary of freedom. Too many negative things, but I intend to focus only on the positives. Never give up, keep moving forward!
Here’s to a more prosperous Philippines in the coming years!

Phishing Exposed!
Do you ever heard PHISHING?
Well, Phishing is a popular method to capture personal data such as passwords, transaction numbers and credit card details.
It's little bit easy to do, so many people doing that dumb things. I admit i know the basic HTML phishing but I'm not using it to hack people password..I just want you to know that phishing site is scattered all over the internet so be careful and avoid being hooked!
Here some tips before logging your account..
1. Don’t click on links within emails that ask for your personal informations...
2. Check 1st the URL if that's the right one.
(Ex. http://www.facebo0k.com)
see the example above..phisher is tweaking the URL that same as the original..as you can see, they used "0" for letter "o" so that users can't notice easily..
3. Check if the website look different..
4. Your Brain :D
To sum it all up. People like you and me will most likely detect fake websites and act accordingly. Normal users have a hard time identifying those websites and are the main phishing targets. They don´t know about the possibilities and simply assume that everything is alright.
Maybe because they are lazy, maybe because they do not want to spend time learning computer stuff. Who knows. Phishing will stop if the majority of users are educated and know how to handle computers.

Canibad - a paradise hideaway :)
My friend's birthday plan to celebrate his birthday somewhere else in samal..until we came up to the decision to stay in canibad for overnight.
It was late 6pm we arrived in samal bak-bak terminal,
Several motorcycles a.k.a habal-habal are available there and will ask you if you are going to Canibad.
Travel from the terminal to Canibad will take you about 30-40 minutes and will cost you about 90.00 pesos/head inclusive of the nice spots you will see as you go there.
Make sure sit comfortably well before the travel as it will be a very long and very bumpy ride, but you'll hardly notice it anyway. I'm sure a lot of scenic spots will take your breath away.
When you’re there, ask the driver to fetch you the following day. There is because there are no available vehicles going back to the terminal.
From top, it will take 10 mins to walk down the beachfront. It would be safer to walk barefoot if it is wet.
After a long and scenic trip you can view the hidden paradise what they said,
You pay P20 per head for the entrance and you can rent one of the cottages for 250 or 350..and wait for the amazing sunrise in the morning.
Make sure to bring your cameras along so as not to miss anything. :) and by the way, the celphone signal is sporadic..

My First Blog Post!
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my blog! This is an important moment for me! This is the first blog I’ve ever written. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, but wasn’t sure how to do it, where, when, or even if. And finally, now here I am.
